Life's a Beach...

We went to the Cape this past weekend. It was Molly's second trip down there, but this time she was able to play in the sand more.... well, she preferred to eat it! The water was too cold for swimming, but she put her feet in. That did not go over well. I think the "giant bathtub" was too much to handle.Matt had a great time. He said, "this was the best day on the beach ever!!" He caught a bunch of hermit crabs and built little pools for them to play in. About 20 people that were walking by stopped to check them out. He had his own little ocean-side aquarium.
After a while of playing with the rubber duck in the bucket, Molly got hungry and tired. She had some milk and then cuddled in the sling and took a nap. Overall, it was a great day!! To top it off, we went for fish and chips for dinner!!

Play time

Molly totally enjoys her play time. She loves to explore and check out her toys and things that are around her. But, mostly she loves to play with her brother. She thinks that Matt is the rising and setting sun. Fortunately, he is a great role model and older brother!

On the move

Molly is officially crawling now. She gets herself moving rather quickly, too. She knows just where to go to find a crumb on the floor or to see the dogs. We had to put the gate up in the family room so she could not get to the stairs, as she found them recently. Another thing that is new, is the pulling up. Whether it be the couch, table, or leg, Molly is pulling herself up to a standing position. Soon enough she will be taking those first few steps!
